Thank you so much for all your recent help with my surgery. You have been amazingly prompt, helpful and attentive. I genuinely appreciate absolutely everything you have done for me.
I am just 12 months following a Laparoscopic Colposuspension performed by Mr Naweed Shahid I wanted to pass on my sincere gratitude for the results I have experienced since the surgery. At the time of surgery I was 38 years old and I had silently suffered with bladder problems for a number of years due to feeling embarrassed & ashamed.
Since the surgery I now feel I can live the life of a 38 year old and do exercises I couldn’t previously do without leaking.
My original surgery was not going to be laparoscopic but abdominally and this did cause me some concern due to time off work and recovery. Mr Shahid offered me the option of a new procedure and this was a Laparoscopic Colposuspension.
The surgery was uncomplicated and the after two nights in hospital I was home. Within 6 weeks I was back to work with no complications. Mr Shahid’s aftercare during my time on the ward was excellent, he came to see me immediately post-operative to update me on my surgery.
I would definitely recommend this surgery to anyone who may need it and have no regret
Just a note to say thank you to yourself and your team for looking after me so well at, You will be pleased to know that I am making equal donations to Target Ovarian Cancer and Breast Cancer, as it is important to support these women who are not so wary with their diagnosis.
